As we enter the year 2020, it is time to choose the Player of the Month for December 2019. In your opinion, which player performed best over the five matches that Les Rouge et Bleu played in the last month?
MIKKEL HANSEN

In December, Mikkel Hansen walked on water again. Top scorer for Les Rouge et Bleu over the period, with 38 goals scored in five games, the Danish international has been a thorn in the side of every defence he has come up against. In the last two Lidl StarLigue matches, Mikki scored 19 times, including ten against Tremblay (32-41). The following week, against Dunkerque, he showed perfect cutting edge with nine goals from as many attempts. These fine performances earned him a place in the league's Best 7.

Face à Dunkerque, il a montré toujours autant d’efficacité.
👉 9 buts pour 9 tirs👏👏🙂

KAMIL SYPRZAK

With the injuries of Henrik Toft Hansen and Luka Karabatic, Kamil Syprzak had a lot of work playing at pivot during the month of December. To say the least, he made up perfectly for the absences of his two shift partners; his efficiency spoke for itself. The Polish international missed very few chances and scored a lot of goals (28 in all competitions). But it was in the cups that he really shone, scoring nine goals against Montpellier (34-30) and seven at Pontault-Combault. To top it all off, he even won the competition on the Parisian motor racing circuit!
RODRIGO CORRALES

In January 2018, Rodrigo Corrales was a key man in Spain's win at the Euros, and as the 2020 edition looms, the Parisian 'keeper seems to be on the same dynamic. His month of December was excellent, as evidenced by his excellent performance in Pontault (26-28). Our goalkeeper made some nice saves, including a magnificent double stop, ending the game with 18 shots stopped at a 41% success rate. In the Lidl StarLigue, he also made Dunkerque's attacking line suffer, denying 13 of their attempts.

DYLAN NAHI

During the month of December, Dylan Nahi was able to showcase his qualities as a defender. The Parisian left-winger won several of his duels with opposing strikers thanks to his power and self-sacrifice. But he was also effective going forward, of course, particularly when he managed to score from his two attempts against Barcelona. In the league, he used these two qualities to help Les Rouge et Bleu win back possession and score on the counter on several occasions, notably in the last game of the year, against Dunkerque (36-25).
NIKOLA KARABATIC

Like Dylan, Nikola Karabatic has proven to be strong in all areas. No-one needs convincing of the wealth of qualities our centre-half possesses, but they were still very much in evidence in December, often in spectacular fashion. Even when the capital club lost to Barcelona (32-35), he shone with six goals, but also a huge amount of defensive work. Against Montpellier, Niko did not falter against his former club, scoring five goals from his five shots. His versatility enabled him to put in some fine performances and to be among the favourites for the Player of the Month for December. In any case, he seems ready for the Euros!
