Which Parisian topped December?

Six matches, six wins in four different competitions... Paris Saint-Germain Handball's record in December couldn't have been better. But which of Les Rouge et Bleu was the club's best performer over the past four weeks?

THIERRY OMEYER

Each month it's the same story... Thierry Omeyer continues to string together excellent performances, with his turn away to former club Montpellier standing out (24-32). In that top of the Lidl Starligue table clash, our last rampart showed no mercy, turning back 14 of the home side's 31 efforts on goal - including a penalty and shots from distance as well as point-blank efforts. In the Velux EHF Champions League, ha also shone, making 12 saves.

NEDIM REMILI

He was the capital club's top scorer for December, with 34 goals. Our right-back claimed plenty of victims, including Montpellier and Nantes but also Dijon, in the Coupe de France (25-29). And he did so with near-flawless efficiency. Against Skjern in Velux EHF Champions League Round 10 action, he fired four from four, while in the Coupe de la Ligue, against Nantes he bagged 6 from 8 at 75%.

MIKKEL HANSEN

Decisive on several occasions, Mikkel Hansen also proved unstoppable in December - notably away to Nantes in the Lidl Starligue round 13 clash. On top of hitting the winning goal on the buzzer (29-30), the Danish international stood out with a majestic finish that beat Cyril Dumoulin hands down as he amassed a ten-goal haul from just 12 shots. Hansen ended December with a grand total of 33 goals ion all competitions.

SANDER SAGOSEN

Sander Sagosen was a real bugbear for Nantes in recent weeks. The Norwegian was a key player in Paris' win over The H in the Coupe de la Ligue quarters (34-30). Despite the fact that the capital club trailed by as many as seven goals at one point in the first half, Raul Gonzalez's men had playmaker Sagosen - who ended the match with nine goals and several assists - to thank for turning the situation around. He also shone with an eight-goal haul against Skjern (38-28).

UWE GENSHEIMER

But that total was outdone by Uwe Gensheimer, who shot 9 from 10 to top score in the match. Our left-winger was all about efficiency in December, haranguing the Chambéry defence in the 26-22 win with a perfect 7 from 7 that neither Yann Genty nor Julien Meyer could do anything about. In the Lidl Starligue, he was also in fine form with five goals against Montpellier and a 7 from 8 against Nantes - a performance that earned him a place un the Best 7 for Round 13. Uwe is thus in line to make it back-to-back gongs after taking the honours in November.
