Check out what Raul Gonzalez and Wallem Peleka had to say after Les Rouge et Bleus' win in Nîmes (28-29) on Liqui Moly StarLigue Matchday 27.
Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):
"It's always difficult to play in Nîmes. They're in contention for a European place, which proves they're a good team. We made several mistakes at the end of the first half that cost us dearly. In the second half, they were very solid, but I think we showed the desire to hit back. Even when we were four goals down, we managed to make the necessary effort to come back. We have to be satisfied with this victory, it's very important in the race for the title.’
Wallem Peleka (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left back):
"It was a very intense match. We know that Nîmes are an athletic team, and we suffered at the end of the first half. It was difficult right to the end, but we managed to keep our energy up and put in the necessary effort to get ahead at the end of the match. These are important points. Now we're going to Montpellier with the aim of winning and clinching the title, but we've still got a big week of work ahead of us before then."
