It's time to vote for Paris Saint-Germain Handball Player of the Month for October! As we cool our heels during the international break, take look back at how the five candidates performed over the last month.

MIKKEL HANSEN

Although the new season has just started, Danish goal machine Mikkel Hansen is already on the way to having another excellent season. In the Lidl StarLigue, he is the club's top scorer with 31 goals - which included a 7 from 7 when Toulouse came calling at Coubertin (41-35). On the European scene, despite Paris's having two matches in hand, he is one of the top scorers in the competition with 28 goals. In October, he found the net 18 times in two matches, and his ten goals away to Kielce (35-33) will be especially remembered.

 

HENRIK TOFT HANSEN

The Danes are on fire. Henrik Toft Hansen, renowned for his silky skills, has not failed to live up to his reputation in recent weeks. In his four league matches in October, our pivot scored 16 times from 22 attempts, giving him a 72.73% efficiency percentage against the opposing defences. Away to Ivry (25-35), he also managed to beat his personal record in the Lidl StarLigue, with eight goals, finishing as the top scorer of the match.

 

KAMIL SYPRZAK

Our pivots have been shining in the early stages of the season! And in terms of skill, Kamil Syprzak is far from the least gifted of them. On the contrary! In addition to his defensive dominance, the Polish international has once again been putting French defences through the wringer. Last month, he managed to score 30 times, while only attempting 28 shots! And his efficiency is often matched with style - his sublime shot against Cesson-Rennes (39-21), named as the best goal of Round 2, being the perfect example.

 

ELOHIM PRANDI

Albeit with a different style, Elohim Prandi also likes to score! In the EHF Champions League, he was one of the driving forces in Les Rouge et Bleus' won over Elverum (35-29), with six goals from as many attempts. But his performance, in his first appearance of the season, was made in front of Limoges (42-20). With 13 goals form 14 attempts, he broke his goal record in a single Lidl StarLigue match, letting his impressive power speak volumes!

 

NEDIM REMILI

What would a Player of the Month vote look like without Nedim Remili? In October, our right-back performed well yet again, with his performance in the Lidl StarLigue Round 3 win over Saint-Raphaël verging on the flawless (23-37). An inspired turn that saw him stroll into the rounds' Best 7 (alongside Kamil, with whom co-top scored in the match). No doubt that he is once again one of the favourites for the Player of the Month gong!
