After turning in a string of excellent Lidl StarLigue performances in April, Uwe Gensheimer is among the nominees for the league's Player of the Month.
The German international played two matches in France with Paris Saint-Germain Handball in April, and our left-winger shone on both occasions, showing the clinical form to score 11 goals. Montpellier struggled heavily trying to contain Uwe, who fired 8 from 9 against the south-western side in the 33-26 win at Coubertin, earning a place among the Best 7 for Round 21 and having a piece of his handiwork included in the Top 5 Goals.
Against Ivry, he ended the match with a 60% record, having struck three times from five attempts.
