Rodrigo Corrales: 'A good match from beginning to end'

News

Check out the Parisians' reactions after the Rouge et Bleu victory in Zagreb.

Viran Morros (Paris Saint-Germain Handball defender):
"We played a great match today. Our defence and our 'keeper were excellent and that really allowed us to inject a lot of pace into our game. It was a tough week with two away matches against top opponents, but overall we’re pretty happy. Still, we'll keep working hard."

Rodrigo Corrales (Paris Saint-Germain Handball 'keeper):
"We wanted to control this match. We watched video and took a close look at Zagreb's game, so we were prepared for what they could bring. We're very happy tonight because, from beginning to end, you can say that we played well. We took two points from an arena where points are hard to come by. We're just at the beginning of our European run, and we hope that things continue like this."

Luka Karabatic (Paris Saint-Germain Handball pivot):
"We got of to a good start in this match. We were focused right from the opening buzzer. We knew that it can be very hard to play in this beautiful arena. We wanted to avoid the trap we fell into against Nîmes. I'm sure plenty of teams will come here and drop points this seasons, and so it's great that we managed to void doing that. Now we have three wins from three matches, which is a great reward for the work we have put in so far."
