RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):
"We had a good first 20 minutes, but we were not able to keep our lead at the break. We had a lot of problems and when they went four goals ahead, and it became complicated. We had the chances to come back, but we missed too many shots. Veszprém played well and that's why we lost. After a defeat, it's difficult to focus on the positives. We wanted to win. But it was only the first game. Especially here at this arena, it's complicated."
KAMIL SYPRZAK (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL PIVOT):
"I think we could beat this Veszprém side. At the break we were level, but in the second half we failed to find our rhythm. They played well and in this atmosphere it became difficult. We have to forget this defeat and concentrate on the good things. We'll analyse our mistakes to avoid repeating them."
MATHIEU GRÉBILLE (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-WINGER):
"We had a good first half. We even had a four-goal lead. But they came back before half-time when we played well. We missed too many chances in attack and in defence we had difficulty stopping them. It comes down to details. We didn't miss much. But we have to do more if we want to win in this competition. We knew it would be difficult in this arena. We raised our level compared to our match in the league, but we have to manage to do it for the full 60 minutes. But it's only the beginning of this Champions League."
