Preview: Five things about Strasbourg - PSG Handball

On Tuesday evening, Paris Saint-Germain Handball will put another of last season's trophies on the line as they travel to Strasbourg for their Coupe de France Round of 32 fixture.

1 - DEFENDING CHAMPIONS

Les Rouge et Bleu are reigning champions of the competition. Last June, they ended their season by beating Nantes at the AccorHotel Arena (36-31). The capital club had also won the previous edition, against Montpellier (30-26), and boast a total of six titles in the competition.

2 - PREVIOUS MATCH

This is not the first time that these two teams have met in the Coupe de France. On 8 February 2015, Paris travelled to Alsace in the round of 32. Our players won (24-31).

3 - RENDEZVOUS AT THE Zenith

While the SeH usually play at the Gymnase des Malteries in Schiltigheim, the match will be relocated to the Zenith in Strasbourg. Thus, 4,600 spectators will be able to attend the match.

After several seasons in the Nationale 1, Strasbourg seem to be comfortably settled in the ProLigue. The club won promotion to the second division for the 2019-20 season, and the new season will be their fourth consecutive campaign in France's second tier.
