Preview: 5 things about Paris - Aix
Paris Saint-Germain Handball play their final match of the season on Friday evening, playing host Aix in Liqui Moly StarLigue Round 30. A match with plenty at stake!
1 - THE TABLE
Les Rouge et Bleu need just one point to once again be crowned French champions. In this final round of the season, our players have their fate in their own hands. Currently one point ahead of Nantes, a win or a draw (thanks to a better goal difference than The H) would guarantee them top spot and a tenth consecutive league title.
For their part, PAUC are aiming to finish as high as possible and they can stitch up eighth place - which they currently occupy - with a win. Defeat, on the other hand, could send them tumbling further down the table. Although the sporting stakes are minimal, there is no doubt that they will be looking to play spoilsport.

2 - OFF TO THE ACCOR ARENA
The capital club will be leaving the Stade Pierre de Coubertin for this match; it will be played at the Accor Arena, with its close to 15,000 seats. Raul Gonzalez's men will be bringing the 2023-2024 season to a close in a magnificent arena. The match will be covered live on our social networks.

3 - THE SWANSONG FOR SEVERAL PARISIANS
Five of our players will take this opportunity to bid farewell to Les Rouge et Bleu. They are Yoann Gibelin and Dominik Mathé, as well as two former members of the youth academy, Adama Keita and Sadou Ntanzi. Finally, Nikola Karabatic will be playing the last match of his club career, as he will be retiring from the game after competing for France in this summer’s Paris Olympics.
4 - HEAD TO HEAD
Paris Saint-Germain Handball have a habit of winning these encounters. Of the 23 league meetings between the two sides, our team have won 21 (and lost two). Last November, they were helped by 13 saves from Jannick Green and six goals from Kamil Syprzak to head home from Aix with two precious points (31-39).
