During the international break, several of our players were on the court representing their national teams. Here's a look back at the results our Rouge et Bleus secured.
EHF Euro Cup 2025
France finished the EHF Euro Cup 2025 in style. Les Bleus, who had won all four of their previous matches, continued their winning streak against Andreas Palicka's Sweden in Gothenburg on Wednesday (32-33). Despite making 13 saves, our goalkeeper was only able to delay the inevitable against his Parisian teammates, with Elohim Prandi scoring five goals. It was worth noting that this was the first cap for our left-back, Wallem Peleka. Already assured of the title, France then faced Norway in Rouen. After a difficult first half (30': 14-16), they managed to turn the situation around in the second term and ultimately won by a single goal (35-34). Elohim once again played a key role in the victory, scoring four times. Guillaume Gille's men thus ended the competition with six wins from as many games.

At the same time, a duel between Scandinavian Parisians saw Jacob Holm (Denmark) take on Andreas (Sweden). Once again, it was a close contest. Pale' emerged victorious (30-33), thanks in part to his seven saves. Despite the defeat, Jacob still found the back of the net once. Denmark finished the tournament in second place, just ahead of Sweden, while Norway brought up the rear.
Netherlands
Mission accomplished for the Netherlands. Luc Steins' and Dani Baijens' team had a clear objective: to take advantage of these last two qualifying matches to secure their place at Euro 2026 (which will be held in Denmark, Norway and Sweden). They achieved this in their first match, a decisive clash with Ukraine. Led by Luc's six goals and Dani's three, the Dutch secured a valuable 27-35 victory that guaranteed them a top-two finish in Group 6. On Saturday, they finished the job with a victory over Kosovo (34-29, with four goals from Dani and one from Luc).

Egypt
Finally, Yahia Omar was with the Egyptian national team last week. Our right-back had a more mixed experience on a collective level: facing Brazil in two warm-up matches, the Pharaohs first won (30-27) before losing a few days later (28-32).
