Nikola Karabatic: 'A big step towards the title'

Find out what the stars had to say after Paris-Saint-Germain Handball defeated Montpellier 33-26 on Saturday in Week 21 of the Lidl Starligue:

Nikola Karabatic (Paris Saint-Germain Handball playmaker):
We're very happy because this was a very important match for the championship. Montpellier are now eight points behind us so it was a big step towards the title.
We defended very well and Rodrigo did the rest. We coneded a few goals we could have avoided in the second half, but playing at home, in front of our fans and with the ultras is a great source of motivation. It really helps.
Now we are going to focus on the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Nedim Remili (Paris Saint-Germain Handball right-back):
Our game has really evolved for the better in recent months. Each match we are learning from our errors. We need to keep preparing well. The supporters also made a big difference tonight. I was talking about it with my father tonight; playing at home in front of this crowd changes everything. They really give us strength.

Luka Stepancic (Paris Saint-Germain Handball right-wing):
We have played Montpellier three times this year and we know it's always very difficult against them. Today we played better thn usual and were more more concentrated, especially with our shooting. We stood up to the chellange tonight. This was a very important win and puts points between us an a direct title rival.

Luka Karabatic (Paris Saint-Germain Handball pivot):
It was a great night at the Stade Coubertin. This was the match of this sprint finish and we really wanted to get a result at home and to show how much we wanted it. They are a dangerous team and we know they are capable of beating anyone on their day. We really played well from start to finish in a great atmosphere.
