Voting in the Player of the Month for May has closed, and our right-back Nedim Remili came out on top.
The France international was clearly one of the favourites for the gong, having turned in a string of such spectacular performances in recent weeks - notably hammering home an incredible 13 goals in the return leg of the Velux EHF Champions League quarter-final against Kielce at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin (35-26). In the Lidl Starligue, he posed plenty of problems for the Pontault-Combault defence (23-39), who couldn't stop him from adding seven goals to his impressive season tally.

He scored no fewer than 34 goals in May (254 over the entire season in all competitions) to top-score for Les Rouge et Bleu. Nedim wins the award ahead of fellow nominees Uwe Gensheimer, Luka Karabatic, Viran Morros and Rodrigo Corrales.
