March voting opens

The month of March just drew to a close, with plenty of wins and a Coupe de la Ligue title. Who do you think was our best layer in this period? Find the link to cast your vote at the bottom of the page.

MIKKEL HANSEN

2019 is going great guns for our Danish left-back! The year started with two new titles: as a World Champion and as a father! In March, things continued to go well for Mikki, who was named the IHF's World Player of the Year for 2018 and who continued to shine out on the court. Notable was his performance away to Istres (44-29) in Lidl Starligue Round 19 action, when he top scored the match with 9 from 11. He ended March with 27 goals to his name.

RODRIGO CORRALES

Over the past few weeks, Les Rouge et Bleu have been able to count on a rock-solid defence, but when opponents have found a way through, Rodrigo Corrales has been there to clean up the mess. Thanks to his excellent turns against Chambéry (21-30) and Istres, he was handed the rare distinction of being named in the Lidl Starligue's Best 7 in consecutive rounds! Against Chambéry, he turned in his best performance of the season, with 17 saves (at 49%), including one effort that was named in the Top 5 Saves for the round.

UWE GENSHEIMER

In March, Uwe Gensheimer was a nightmare for several opposition defences, be it in Europe or on the domestic scene. Even when the capital club fell to Montpellier in the Coupe de France, the German international shone with 7 from 8. He was also named Man of the Match in the Coupe de la Ligue final, also against Montpellier (31-25), this time with a nine-goal haul. He also bagged a memorable 6 from 6 against Chambéry and ended the month with 33 goals to his name.

LUKA STEPANCIC

Luka Stepancic got off to a great start in March, the Croatian international top-scoring in each match he played. Against Zaporozhye (31-25), in the Velux EHF Champions League, our right-back fired a 9 from 10 to earn a place in the Best 7 for Round 14. He was at it again a few days later, starring with nine goals in Paris Saint-Germain Handball's Lidl Starligue crunch clash with Nantes (35-29).

NEDIM REMILI

Thanks to a shoulder injury picked up in February, Nedim didn't feature in Paris' first few matches in March, but that didn't stop him from tearing it up when he return to action. Against Istres in the Lidl Starligue, he was 100% in front of goal (6 from 6), but it was in the Coupe de la Ligue semis that the France international really made his mark, bagging Man of the Match honours with an influential four-goal turn (22-27).
