Thanks to their fine performances in the victory over Toulouse (36-25), Luka Karabatic and Luc Steins have been selected in the Team of the Week for Liqui Moly StarLigue Matchday 23.
The weeks go by and Luc Steins seems to just keep getting better and better. Once again, he was one of the driving forces behind his team's success, scoring from four of his five attempts. Our Dutch centre-half was brilliant in attack, setting up his team-mates very well, as reflected by his status as the league's assists leader with no fewer than 187 goals cooked up for his teammates. The icing on the cake is that he has now scored 400 of his own goals in the Liqui Moly StarLigue while playing for Paris.

Effective in front of the Toulouse goal (one on one), our captain, Luka Karabatic, also had a big impact on the Toulouse offensive line. Our pivot hampered his opponents perfectly, making the task easier for keeper Andreas Palicka (12 saves). A decisive defensive effort all around as, with only 25 goals conceded, the Rouge et Bleu rearguard equalled their third-best performance of the season in the league.
