OUR PARISIANS IN THE MATCH

Yann Genty was one of the cornerstones of the Parisian victory. Coming on twenty minutes before the end - in place of Vincent Gérard (eight saves), Yann finished the game with five stops at an impressive 56%.
A very good performance that made possible in part by the excellent defensive work of Luka Karabatic. The Parisian pivot is the keystone of France's 6-0 formation.

COMING UP...

At 20:30 on Sunday (match broadcast on beIN Sports and TMC), France will once again do battle with Portugal, a team that have beaten Les Bleus in recent history.
Even in case of a defeat, Les Bleus could still make it through to the quarters. But, as we already know, the French will be out to finish this main round on a high.
