Jannick Green: 'Every game is important'

Reactions

Heck out the reactions from Raul Gonzalez, Luka Karabatic and Jannick Green after Paris Saint-Germain Handball's convincing victory over Istres (42-30 )in Liqui Moly StarLigue Round 21.

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"We started very well. We managed the game and we took a big lead in the first half. We can be happy because everyone was able to play and have fun today. We want to try to win the championship, so we will continue to work, after having rested this weekend. Playing one game a week is quite different. We'll use the week to do a bit more physical preparation."

LUKA KARABATIC (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL PIVOT):

"When you win by more than ten goals, it's very positive. It was a match with a lot of commitment and intensity. We saw from the beginning that they came with a desire to play. They did a lot of ball movement. So we had to be serious from the start and I think we did what we had to do. Nevertheless, I think we conceded too many goals even if it is never easy in a high-intensity game like this one. However, the mission is accomplished so that's a very good thing."

"We don't look too much at the table; we know that we have to win every game to last as long as possible. We have to continue the positive dynamic that has seen us gain in confidence. We must continue to train well. The rhythm has changed a little bit for us with one match a week, so it's up to us to be serious. On a personal level, it's always nice to score more goals than the average. I had a lot of touches tonight so I tried to take advantage of them, and for that I thank my teammates. But it's all statistics, and I'm interested in the team. We won and that's the most important thing tonight."

JANNICK GREEN (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL GOALKEEPER):

"Today's game was difficult at the beginning. I think we played very well so I am very happy. It's an important win, we want to win every game. We want to put as much pressure as possible on Montpellier, and that's why every game is important. We're playing very well and we want to continue like this. It's true that we only have one match a week at the moment, but I like playing. Afterwards, it's good for the aches and pains and for training. But I like playing matches [laughs]."
