Group B results: Round 2

Last week's Velux EHF Champions League Round 2 action end with Paris Saint-Germain Handball on top of Group B thanks to a 33-21 win over Celje on Sunday. Check out the rest of the group's results…

Flensburg - Zagreb: 29-31
The big upset of Round 2 came in Flensburg, where the local side played host to Zagreb. Beaten at home by Szeged in their Round 1 match (23-24), the Croatian side created a sensation by taking both points in Germany. While the performance of 26-year-old right-back Ivan Srsen was remarkable with a 7 from 8, his 'keeper Urh Kastelic stole the show with no fewer than 12 saves, many coming in decisive moments.

Szeged - Nantes: 30-28
The group's other French team, Nantes, travelled to Szeged on Sunday evening and once again a 'keeper played a determining role. The two sides were neck-and-neck for most of the match (53': 27-27), but the Szeged 'keeper Marin Sego made the saves when it counted. With a total of 15 saves, he helped his side get the better of The H in the dying moments and claim a narrow win.

Skjern - Zaporozhye: 37-33
Meanwhile Skjern, buoyed by their Round 1 win away to Celje (26-27), played host to Zaporozhye, who had lost to the Rouge et Bleu on the opening day (29-35). The Danes had no trouble in dominating the match and claiming a second win from as many matches, thanks in no small part to the fact that five of their players ended the match with a 77% or greater success rate in front of goal. Notable among them was Bjarte Myrhol, who shot 8 from 9 and was voted best pivot of the round.
