On Thursday night, Paris Saint-Germain Handball returned to the EHF Champions League with an important victory against Flensburg (33-30). Check out the rest of Group B's Matchday 12 results.
KIELCE - ZAPOROZHYE: 33-27
Group leaders Kielce confirmed their status on Wednesday evening against Zaporozhye. At the break, the Poles were already comfortably in front (30': 33-27), and nothing changed in the second half. Individually, French players shone brightly. Former Nantes pivot Nicolas Tournat fired an impressive 8 from 10, while our former left-winger Dylan Nahi managed to score from both of his two attempts. Talant Dujshebaev's men remain alone at the top of the group, two points ahead of nearest chasers Barcelona (and potentially Les Rouge et Bleu, if the Parisians win their rescheduled match). Zaporozhye, on the other hand, are in sixth.
PORTO - DINAMO BUCHAREST: 31-32
The two main relegation contenders faced off on Thursday night. Porto, seventh before the game with eight points, hosted bottom side Dinamo Bucharest, who had just six points. The tense contest was a real thriller and ended up reigniting the race for the round of 16 as the Romanians managed to get the win in Portugal. There was also tension during the game, the two teams staying neck and neck throughout the 60 minutes (30': 12-12), but with two minutes to go, Valentin Marian Ghionea gave the victory to Dinamo. Now the group's four bottom teams - Porto, Bucharest, Zaporozhye and Flensburg - are separated by just one point!

BARCELONA - VESZPRÉM: 35-30
One of the biggest Group B clashes took place in Catalonia, with Barcelona playing host to Veszprém at the Palau Blaugrana on Thursday. Victory was just about a must for the Catalans if they wanted to hang onto second place; defeat could have seen them overhauled by their opponents on the night or by the Parisians. But, despite a very good contest from Rodrigo Corrales (11 saves) and his teammates - not to mention dead-even first half (30': 13-13) - the Spaniards finally got the better of their rivals, thanks in particular to 16 saves from Gonzalo Perez de Vargas. The visitors had a difficult last quarter and saw the victory slip away, a result that leaves them three points behind the four sides still vying for second.
