Group B results

On Sunday afternoon, Paris Saint-Germain Handball continued their perfect start to the Velux EHF Champions League season with a win away to Skjern (24-26). Les Rouge et Bleu thus remain atop the Group B standings. Check out the group's other results.

Zaporozhye - Zagreb: 35-27
It's now official: no team in the group will finish with zero points! Zaporozhye, who had fallen in all four of their opening fixtures, showed some serious steel on Sunday afternoon as Zagreb came calling. In the lead at the break (17-13), the Ukrainian side kept it up in the final 30 minutes, thanks notably to a 7 from 9 from Belarusian playmaker Barys Pukhouski. The win takes them seventh, just behind the Croatians.

Szeged - Flensburg: 30-28
Meanwhile, continued to blow hot and cold. This weekend, away to Szeged, the German club had a tough day, never quite able to get a hold of the match and finding themselves well behind at the end of the first half (22': 13-8). Their fight-back in the latter stages of the second half was a case of too little too late, while in individual terms, Szeged's Mario Sostaric stood out with 6 from 6. The Hungarian side, like Paris Saint-Germain Handball, have won all their matches so far in the Champions League campaign.

Nantes - Celje: 38-27
Nantes were in a must-win situation at home to Celje on Sunday evening, and fortunately for The H, they controlled the match from beginning to end at the Palais des Sports in Beaulieu. Although they fell behind for one minute and 36 seconds, Rock Feliho levelled and then Nicola Tournat put them back into the lead, which they refused to relinquish for the rest of the match. In the end, Thierry Anti's men won in style and climbed to fourth place in the group, while the Slovenians sit at the foot of the table with just two points.
