Group B results

On Sunday afternoon Round 4 of the Velux EHF Champions League wrapped up, with Paris Saint-Germain Handball having gotten the better of Nantes the day before (35-34). Check out the rest of the Group B results!

Szeged - Celje: 33-24
After four rounds, only Szeged are keeping pace with Les Rouge et Bleu. On Sunday afternoon, as Celje came calling, the Hungarian side turned in yet another superb performance. Bence Banhidi played a key role in his side's victory, the 23-year-old pivot shooting a 6 from 8 to help his side stay level with Paris Saint-Germain Handball by claiming all eight points on offer so far this season. Celje remain in seventh place.

Flensburg - Zaporozhye: 31-24
After two consecutive defeats, Flensburg had their backs to the wall as Zaporozhye came calling in mid-week. Faced with the group's bottom side, who are yet to open their account this season, the Germans got back to winning ways. Never put in danger by the Ukrainians, Magnus Rod (8 from 10) and his teammates controlled the match perfectly to clinch their second win of the European campaign and climb to fourth.

Skjern - Zagreb: 31-31
Heading into the match, it was tough to predict who would win out, and by half-time in this clash things were no clearer (14-14). Even less so after the buzzer! The lead yo-yoed incessantly throughout the clash, with neither side able to break free. The Croats seemed closer to wining it when they took a three-goal lead (35': 16-19), but they were soon caught (40': 21-21). The draw did little for either side's hopes, either positively or negatively, with Skjern remaining third and Zagreb sitting tight in fifth.
