Flensburg - Szeged: 34-26
On Wednesday evening, Flensburg and Szeged got Round 13 under way. Blowing hot and cold since the beginning of the competition, the Germans got their ducks in a row to clinch a huge win with Poland international Michel Jurecki, scorer of six goals from seven attempts, in clinical form. Thanks to this win, the Flensburgers are definitively out of the drop zone, while the Hungarians are in third place and no longer have their fate in their own hands in the race for second(which they conceded to Les Rouge et Bleu).
Celje - Barcelona: 25-37
For their part, Barcelona secured top spot and a place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The Blaugranas masterminded this qualification away to Celje, who could have booked their place in the last 16 with a win. They did everything they could to get rid of Group A leaders Barcelona, including a nine-goal haul from David Razgor, who scored 90 per cent of his side's goals against the Catalan giants. But it was the team at the other end of the court that really pulled together, with all of Barcelona's outfield players finding the net at least once.

Zagreb - Aalborg: 31-30
Zagreb eked out one last chance to qualify for the next round! The Croatians claimed just their second victory of their campaign, narrowly getting the better of Aalborg. It all came down to the last second, hen the impressive Zlatko Horvat struck from the seven-metre line. The win moved Zagreb to within a point of Celje and touching distance of sixth place - which would afford them a place in the Round of 16. A win at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin on Sunday will be crucial if they are to qualify in place of the Slovenians.
