Group A results - Round 11
Paris Saint-Germain Handball moved into second place in Group A thanks to the victory away to Celje on Sunday afternoon (29-33). Check out the other Group A results from Round 11.
Zagreb - Flensburg: 25-26
On Saturday afternoon, Flensburg travelled to Zagreb with the firm intention of moving away from the drop zone, where the Croatians are currently located. Although the Germans were in control, at least on the scoreboard, throughout the match, they had to wait until the final minute and a miss from Matej Hrstic to conclude their win. The victory took the Flensburgers six points clear of the play-off places. Despite an excellent performance from Marin Sipic (8 from 10), the home side remain bottom of the standings.

Szeged - Aalborg: 26-26
There was also suspense in Hungary, where Szeged hosted Aalborg in a top-of-the-table encounter that somehow failed to produce a winner. However, the Danes came within a whisker of making a big move, as they led in money-time (55': 22-24), but Luka Stepancic and his team-mates made up the difference in the dying moments. Slovenian playmaker Dean Bombac lit up the Varosi Sportcsarnok by levelling the scores five seconds from time. Szeged slip to third, leapfrogged by Paris, while Aalborg are now officially through to the Round of 16.
Elverum - Barcelona: 26-30
With three games to go in the group phase, Elverum's chances of progressing to the knockout rounds looked bleak. Yet, as usual, the Norwegians weren't about to make things easy for group leaders Barcelona on Sunday. With less than ten minutes to go, the Norwegians were still in with a chance of success (52': 24-26). But the solidity of the Blaugrana side proved its most potent weapon once again, allowing the Catalans to claim another win. Barcelona remain top of the group with a two-point lead over Les Rouge et Bleu. Meanwhile Elverum see sixth place - and a chance to qualify for the next round - slip away (three points behind).
