News

Paris Saint-Germain Handball lost to Kiel at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin on Thursday (28-34). Check out the results from the rest of the EHF Champions League Matchday 6 matches from Group A.

AALBORG - KOLSTAD: 27-25

In the headline clash of the round, Aalborg won the Scandinavian derby against Norwegian side Kolstad. Led by an excellent Niklas Landin, who made 16 saves, the Danes pulled off the week's biggest upset and moved to within one point of the Parisians. For their part, Kolstad ended a run of two consecutive wins despite a ten-goal performance from former Les Rouge et Bleu star Sander Sagosen. The capital club's next opponents, the Norwegians, are fifth in the group, three points behind Raul Gonzalez's men.

PELISTER - KIELCE: 21-24

Pelister still can't get going. The Macedonians conceded a sixth defeat in as many games to the utterly clinical Poles. After losing to Kiel (35-31) and drawing with Szeged (27-27), Kielce finally got back on track and moved to within one point of Les Rouge et Bleu.

SZEGED - ZAGREB: 27-26

Trailing by two goals at the break, Szeged put in a solid performance in the second half to get back to winning ways. With this win, the Hungarians are one step closer to the qualifying places. After three consecutive positive results at home, Zagreb confirmed their difficulties away from home with a third defeat in as many away games.
