Find out what Raul Gonzalez, Elohim Prandi and Ferran Solé Sala had to say after Paris beat Aalborg 33-30 in the EHF Champions League Group A on Matchday 5.
RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):
"It was complicated, because Aalborg are a good team with good players. We've been playing a lot of games in a row and I think we handled the game well. The most important thing was to win. We started very strongly, but they came back. They're a team that plays well too."
ELOHIM PRANDI (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL LEFT-BACK):
"We knew it was going to be complicated. There's a lot at stake with the two big home games (Aalborg and Kiel on 26 October). We had to get a win today to play a big game next week, but it was no easy task. Aalborg have a great team and it was tough. We showed character and we showed that we have a strong mental side. We made the right choices when we needed to and that's what shows we're a great team today. We lost our captain (Luka Karabatic picked up a red card), our leader, but Wallem (Peleka) made a superb appearance off the bench, congratulations to him. It's very important to get the crowd behind you. At Coubertin, we can beat anyone."
FERRAN SOLÉ SALA (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL RIGHT WINGER):
"The pace was very high and I think everyone was exhausted at the end. We feel better after this victory. It was a very close game, with neither team taking a big lead. I think we were very strong in the last 15 minutes and that's what we need to hang onto. Even though there were some difficult moments, we remained focused throughout the match and it was in money-time that we showed that we were playing at home and that we have the character to win."
