Adama Keita: 'It put us in the mood'

Check out what the Parisians had to say after the victory over Zagreb in the first group match of the Velux EHF Champions League season (29-37).

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):
"I'm happy because, against a team who had a lot of quality injected over the summer, we played well. Our strong defence and our smooth attacking play had us four goals clear at the break. The second half was much better and you could see that on the scoreboard. I also enjoyed seeing my team focused throughout the game, an area in which they much better than against Nantes."

Benoit Kounkoud (Paris Saint-Germain Handball right-winger):
"We're leave Zagreb with a win. It was important to come here and succeed. We were coming out of a match against Nantes where we blew hot and cold somewhat. It's nice to leave here with the two points and to do so in style. In the first half we could have killed the game off earlier. But, despite that, we stayed focused and ended up with a fair-sized lead for much of the game, which allowed us to hand a bit of game time around the squad."

Adama Keita (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-winger):
"It was a very solid performance. Even if we weren't always clinical in attack, we were able to keep a lead of at least four goals throughout the game. In the second half, we were better in attack. We were able to kind of run away with it and rotate the squad a bit. I'm happy with the collective performance, and stoke that we started our European adventure with a victory. It put us in the mood to prepare for our next games, which will come very soon."
