Unanimous verdict from the media

The international media were left raving by Paris Saint-Germain's stunning performance in Tuesday's Champions League win at Manchester United.

'Paris hits hard' was the headline on Le Parisien, who put goalscorer Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappé up front and centre stage, along with Thomas Tuchel "the club's best coach since 2011". L'Equipe's headline ran, 'Like a dream', while the travelling fans - and their rousing Marseillaise at the end of the match - were also given recognition.

In England, the Daily Mail focussed on Manchester United's defeat and not Paris' win. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer "suffered his first defeat" in charge of the club, while Paul Pogba was sent off on "a disappointing night". Other than the team, the fans impressed the British media inside and outside the stadium. In Spain, Marca highlighted the performance of Angel Di Maria against his former club, registering two assists despite "the fans in the Theatre of Dreams welcoming him with whistles".

In the USA, the Washington Post stated, 'Paris Saint-Germain hands Solskjaer his first defeat', and picks out Di Maria as "the architect of Paris' two goals" and Marco Verratti as "the conductor" of the team's play. For the New York Times, Thomas Tuchel's men "dominated the game and deservedly won", while in Italy, the Gazzetta dello Sport's interview with Gianluigi Buffon noted the Paris goalkeeper wants "to keep enjoying myself".
