The eagerly awaited draw for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League takes place tonight. PSG.fr takes you through what we can expect, step by step:
Rules:
- Teams are divided into four seeded pots.
- Pot 1 comprises the defending Champions League champion, the defending Europa League champion and the champions of the six top ranked UEFA nations not qualified via last season's competition titles. Paris Saint-Germain are in Pot 1.
- Pots 2, 3 and 4 are determined by the club's individual UEFA coefficients.
- No two clubs from the same national association can be drawn together in the same group. Paris Saint-Germain cannot be drawn in the same section as Marseille or Rennes.
