On the eve of the Week 14 Ligue 1 clash at home to Toulouse, this Saturday at 17:00 at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel fielded questions from the media at the Ooredoo Training Centre.
SQUAD UPDATE
"Stanley Nsoki is injured and can't play on Saturday. The injuries to Neymar and Kylian Mbappé are not too serious, but we won't be taking any risks. Neither will play on Saturday. It's possible that they will be ready for Liverpool. I have spoken t the doctors and I think it might be possible. We have a lot of top quality players. They have to show against Toulouse that they are ready, with more intensity than we showed against Monaco. That's what I expect from my team."
TOULOUSE
"This is not an easy match to prepare, but our main aim is to be at our best. We want to play well and keep winning. Toulouse are also in a difficult situation with injuries. They haven't managed to win their last few matches. It's hard to tel how they will turn out against us, so it's important that we focus on our own game. We will have to attack, have the ball, press well, play with intensity, and the right spirit to prepare for the match against Liverpool."
NEYMAR JR and KYLIAN MBAPPÉ
"We have big objectives and big matches to play in the Champions League. They are players that play for the club. We work very hard to manage them, monitor their playing time to try and avoid injury. But then they go and play for their country and I understand that they want to win. We have to try and find a solution for this, which is very difficult, almost impossible. THe national team coaches should monitor their players, it's their job too. From time to time is good to give these players a rest... But it just doesn't seem to happen."
