Tuchel: 'It's always tough, even at home'

Find out what the Paris Saint-Germain camp had to say after the 1-0 win over Club Brugge at Parc des Princes on Wednesday and the qualification for the last-16

Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
"They have played 25 matches this season and lost just two... to us. They had nothing to lose tonight and they started very well. Perhaps the game was a little too open in the opening stages, but we slowly got control of the game and I liked it. We missed a few chances on the counterattack after the break and maybe we wanted to hold on to the 1-0 lead. But we all saw Liverpool and Chelsea yesterday, it's tough for everyone at home. You mustn't forget that a lot of players were coming back from injury and others that have been playing a lot of football. There was a bit of fatigue out there and we lost a few easy balls. But I'm not worried by the mentality of the players."

Keylor Navas (Paris Saint-Germain)
"It was a very difficult match against a very good and organised side that played very well. They closed down space well but we played very well and got an important victory. The penalty is always a difficult exercise. Luckily I went the right way and helped the team keep another clean sheet and that's the main thing."

Presnel Kimpembe (Paris Saint-Germain defender)
"It was a very tough game. We managed to get that goal and stayed solid at the back. At the end of the day, the most important thing is the win and the qualification for the last-16 against a very good Brugge side. We stuck together tonight. It didn't look like a penalty to me, but the referee made his decision. Keylor Navas saved us and we thank him and we're very happy. Our aim now is finishing top of the group."

Angel Di Maria (Paris Saint-Germain forward)
"The important thing is that hard work pays off. We work hard every day for these moments. Brugge worked very hard, like we saw them do in the other group games. The main thing is that we won tonight. We are very happy. Well doneĀ  Keylor Navas! His penalty save gave us a lot of confidence and he helped us avoid the draw. We are going to keep working hard to play well and try and win matches. We are not focusing on the standings, but trying to play as well as possible."
