Thomas Tuchel, Abdou Diallo and Pablo Sarabia gave us their thoughts on Saturday's 1-1 draw at FC Nuremberg.
Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
"I was very happy with the first half, very happy because the team was well structured. We controlled the game in the opposition half and pressed well. We won possession back a lot in their half of the pitch. It was very good. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to score that second goal, but we created a lot of chances. The players are tired, because they have had a lot of training sessions with a lot of work over the last ten days. We made a few mistakes at the start of the second half. It was a difficult time for us. After that, the youngsters had a good last half-hour."
Abdou Diallo (Paris Saint-Germain defender)
"Everything has gone very quickly for me! I've only had two training sessions with the team, so I had to quickly get into the game. I tried to give my all. Unfortunately, I conceded the penalty, but I'm trying to focus on the positive. My first week? It's very positive. Everything has gone well!"
Pablo Sarabia (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder)
"I'm very happy to have had the chance to score my first goal thanks to a very good pass from Kylian [Mbappé]. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to win the game, but we had a good feeling. We're progressing little by little, we're building understanding. We're improving match after match."
