Thomas Tuchel: 'Not clinical enough'
Thomas Tuchel, Julian Draxler and Edinson Cavani gave their thoughts on Paris Saint-Germain's 1-1 draw at Strasbourg in Wednesday's Ligue 1 game.
Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
"This evening, we lacked a little bit of luck, just like we did against Bordeaux. We weren't clinical enough in our opponent's penalty box. A shot, a more precise cross...In the first half, we lacked precision, speed in our decision-making and structure. After the break, it was better. We completely controlled the game. We played in our opponent's half. We could have won, but we lacked luck. We have to accept the draw, but the performance was good. It will be even harder in Belgrade, we will have to be ready."
Julian Draxler (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder)
"It wasn't a good game. In the first half, there wasn't any space. Strasbourg defended well. It's always difficult here, just as it was last year. They give everything and deserved the draw. Today, we didn't play well. The next match is very important, we absolutely have to win it." Speaking to Canal+
Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain forward)
"I think that we came up against a good team. It's always tough here. They're a solid team, good defensively. We deserved more in the second half, but that's football. It was a good game to prepare for the Champions League and this crucial match in Belgrade."
