The PSG EXPERIENCE kicks off

Today the Parc des Princes open ups up to fans around the world with a new interactive and immersive experience.

A unique opportunity to peek behind the scenes at the Parc des Princes, immerse yourself in the history of the Club, sit in the dugout, visit the changing rooms, and, courtesy of the latest virtual reality technology, fly over the stadium or even save some of Neymar's free kicks.

Paris Saint-Germain has today launched a brand new Parc des Princes experience that will enable all of our supporters to discover the mythical Parisian arena and take in the history of the Club in an interactive and immersive manner. Destined to become one of Paris' major tourist attractions, the Parc des Princes has not been open for tours since 2012 due to the comprehensive refurbishment of the stadium between 2013 and 2016.

“Our supporters have been eagerly awaiting these Parc des Princes tours, as have the millions of tourists who visit the French capital every year, said Fabien Allègre, Paris Saint-Germain’s director of merchandising and brand diversification. In line with the Club's ambition, we took our time to build a project that exceeds their expectations, in order to offer an interactive and immersive experience that is the only one of its kind in the world.”

The experience on offer represents a global first for a football club. It is built on the latest virtual reality and immersive video technology, and is made up of three different parts. Paris Saint-Germain has joined forces with cinema group mk2 to create the PSG EXPERIENCE. Leveraging their virtual reality expertise, mk2 has entrusted this unique tour project to its YWF subsidiary, which focuses on the production and operation of immersive experiences.

A THREE-STAGE IMMERSION IN THE WORLD OF PSG

1. PSG STADIUM TOUR: A REINVENTED STADIUM VISIT
The stadium tour offers unique access to the Parc des Princes. Visitors can go behind the scenes at the stadium, stroll around the VIP boxes, check out the changing rooms, or take a seat on the substitutes' bench right by the edge of the pitch.
The experience is enhanced by cutting-edge immersion devices. The Institute for Research and Coordination in Acoustics/Music has developed a 3D sound experience that gives visitors the illusion of walking out onto the pitch on a matchday.

2. HISTORY ROOM
The History Room features a trophy wall and an immersive video experience that replays some of the greatest moments in the history of the club.

3. PSG VR ARCADE: A FIRST FOR A FOOTBALL CLUB
The VR Arcade, located on the first floor of the Megastore opposite the Parc des Princes, is a 400m2 space dedicated to virtual reality experiences. Fly high above Paris and the Parc des Princes with the help of Birdly (an exclusive option in France), put on Alphonse Areola's goalkeeping gloves to save free kicks by Neymar and Angel Di Maria, relive the last Paris Saint-Germain-Marseille match in 360°, row on the Seine with the players, and more.
Boasting state-of-the-art immersive technology (such as the very latest HP Reverb virtual reality headsets and flight simulator) and equipped with arcade machines, the PSG VR Arcade is open to everyone aged 6 and over. Entry is free and visitors pay for each attraction separately. It also features a bar and a viewing area for live matches.
