After Paris Saint-Germain’s 4-2 victory over Angers SCO on Saturday at the Stade Raymond Kopa, discover the key stats and highlights from this Matchday 11 clash in Ligue 1.
PARIS, a NIGHTMARE for ANGERS
Solidly leading Ligue 1 after their decisive win at Raymond-Kopa, Paris Saint-Germain have now gone unbeaten in their last 30 away matches in the league (23 wins, 7 draws), marking the longest such streak in French top-flight history. They are also the first club from Europe’s top five leagues to reach this milestone since SSC Napoli, who achieved a 30-game unbeaten away run in Serie A from 2016 to 2018.
The number 30 also represents PSG’s run of official matches without defeat against Angers SCO, comprising 23 wins and 7 draws. The Rouge et Bleu have not lost to Angers in 49 years—since 12 January 1975, when they fell 3-1 in Angers—a record-breaking streak for the Parisian club.
Paris Saint-Germain claimed their 17th consecutive win across all competitions against Angers, matching their longest winning run in club history, previously set against FC Nantes from 2007 to 2019. In Ligue 1, Angers have lost each of their last 15 matches against PSG, making them the first team to lose 15 consecutive times to the same opponent in the league.
On Saturday, PSG also recorded their seventh consecutive Ligue 1 victory at Angers—a club record matched only by their winning streaks against Stade Brestois 29 and FC Metz.

Scoring PSG’s first two goals on Saturday, midfielder Lee Kang-In recorded the first brace of his career with the Rouge et Bleu. The South Korean international now has six Ligue 1 goals this season, already doubling his goal tally from his first season in France.
Also scoring twice at Angers—including his first headed goal in Ligue 1—current league top scorer Bradley Barcola now has 10 goals in the league this season, surpassing his total from his first three seasons combined.
Paris Saint-Germain forward Marco Asensio provided three assists against Angers, marking the second time in his career he has achieved this in a single match in Europe’s top five leagues. The first was in La Liga with RCD Espanyol against Real Betis in October 2015.
