The Paris Saint-Germain coach praised his side for claiming an "extraordinary result" in Wednesday's Coupe de France semi-final win over Lyon.
Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
"It's an extraordinary result, scoring five times and winning 5-1 after going behind. It's really good, a solid performance. We gave everything. There were some times when we lacked fluidity, speed or aggression, but it was easier after the second goal, because we gained in confidence and our opponents were a man short. It's a good win, because it's difficult to play here, especially as they were confident after their games against Juventus and Saint-Étienne. It's a good reaction."
Pablo Sarabia (Paris Saint-Germain forward)
"I'm very happy for everyone, for the team. I'm very happy to have scored. My record? I'm proud of that. It's very important for me and my family. I'm happy to help the team. The first half was very difficult, it's tough to find space against Lyon. We had chances, but the second half was better. We had a lot of chances and we scored goals. Kylian is a different kind of player. I know he can contribute a lot to the team and I have faith in him that he can help us win a lot of trophies."
Thilo Kehrer (Paris Saint-Germain defender)
"It was an open game, keenly contested, with chances on both sides, but we controlled the game well in the second half. We played well, we were alert, and we created chances and took them. My position? I play where the coach wants me to play. I'm happy to be on the pitch, wherever I am, I try to give my all."
Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain forward)
"Each game is important and trophies are the most important thing you can leave club, so it's good to know we played very well to reach the final. It's good to take a game like that as an example of what we have to put into things in the future. Reaching the final and doing it like that it good, it's deserved. My 300th game for Paris? It shows my desire to play all the time, to give everything for this shirt, for this city."
