Paris Saint-Germain shines at 2025 Trophées UNFP with 14 awards

Press releases

Les Rouge et Bleu have won a total of 14 awards at the 33rd edition of the Trophées UNFP, which was held in Paris this evening and honoured the season's best performers, as voted for by their peers. Paris Saint-Germain is therefore proud to have Ligue 1’s Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season and Manager of the Season in its ranks, while the capital club has also set yet another record, with nine of its players featuring in the Team of the Season.

THE Arkema Première Ligue Young Player OF THE SEASON: Tara Elimbi Gilbert

In her first season as a professional player, the 19-year-old Parisian has come into her own, earning her place in Paris Saint-Germain women's senior squad. As a product of the club's youth academy, Elimbi Gilbert has made 20 Arkema Première Ligue appearances, scoring one goal – a decisive strike that gave Les Parisiennes victory on Matchday 16 – and providing three assists in what has been a promising first season for the youngster.

Grace Geyoro named in Arkema Première Ligue's TEAM OF THE SEASON

For the fifth time in a row, Grace Geyoro has been named in the Arkema Première Ligue Team of the Season. With six goals and four assists to her name in the league, the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has therefore been rewarded for her consistency in a successful season.

Technical, creative and decisive: Désiré Doué named AS Ligue 1's Young Player OF THE SEASON

Having already been nominated in this category last season, the 19-year-old has confirmed his meteoric rise with Les Rouge et Bleu by winning the title of Ligue 1's Young Player of the Season for 2024–2025. With six goals and six assists in 30 league games, Désiré Doué has shone thanks to his extraordinary technical ability, while his rise to prominence at club level has also opened the doors to the French senior team, with his first cap coming against Croatia on 23rd March 2025.

Explosive, clinical, brilliant: Ousmane Dembélé wins Ligue 1's PLAYER OF THE SEASON award

After arriving at Paris Saint-Germain in July 2023, Ousmane Dembélé enjoyed a successful first season, finishing among the top five players in Ligue 1 and featuring in the league's Team of the Season, while in the 2024–2025 campaign so far, he has scored 21 goals and provided six assists in 28 league appearances. Now, for the first time, the 27-year-old striker has been named as Player of the Season, and the French international, who was one of Les Bleus' world champions in 2018, is also Ligue 1's top goal scorer and top assist provider ahead of Matchday 34.

Tactician, leader, unifier: Luis Enrique voted AS Ligue 1 MANAGER OF THE SEASON

At the helm of a team that has sparkled throughout the season, Luis Enrique has left his mark on the 2024–2025 campaign, not least by guiding his charges to a new record: 39 consecutive away Ligue 1 matches without defeat, the longest run of its kind in the history of Europe's top five leagues, thereby beating AC Milan's total of 38 matches between 1991 and 1993. On a personal note, after taking home the Trophée des Champions with a 1-0 win over Monaco in Doha last January, the Spanish coach has now claimed his second French league title in two seasons, as well as falling to just four defeats in his 81 competitive fixtures against French sides since joining the club in July 2023.

Defenders, midfielders, strikers: Nine Rouge et Bleu names in the League's Team of the Season

The capital club is the best-represented side in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season for 2024–2025, with nine of its players making the cut: Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes and Willian Pacho in defence; Désiré Doué, João Neves and Vitinha in midfield; and Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé in attack. This is a new record for Les Parisiens, surpassing the total of eight players that were named in the 2015–2016 Team of the Season and making Paris the first club in the history of the Trophées UNFP to have this many representatives in the end-of-season XI.
