Number crunch: Amiens vs Paris Saint-Germain

Paris return to action in the league where they remain unbeaten all season. Thomas Tuchel takes his side to 17th placed Amiens on Saturday evening.

The Parisians stormed Ligue 1 in the first half of the 2018/2019 season, avoiding defeat in all of their 17 league games, their 47 points is the best tally ever for a team at this stage of the season.

Over the last three games between the two sides, Paris have come out on top with two wins and one draw. Their nine goals in Ligue 1 against tomorrow's opponents have come from a variety of players, eight in total; Cavani x 2, Pastore, Nkunku, Marquinhos, Rabiot, Draxler, Mbappé and Diaby.

The home side will hoping for a change in league fortunes at the start of the new year. Amiens have won none of their last four home games in Ligue 1, with a record of one draw and three losses. They did however go through an impressive run of six wins in nine games before the slump.

The two sides have met once already this season with Paris claiming a 5-0 victory at the Parc des Princes. The club from the capital will be hoping for a first league win on the road in three games and a successful start to 2019!
