Mbappé's France lose but remain top of the group

News

Kylian Mbappé's France were beaten 1-0 by Tunisia on Wednesday 30 November at the Education City Stadium on Matchday 3 of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Group Stage.

Already guaranteed a spot in the Round of 16 of the competition, this defeat didn't prevent Didier Deschamps' side from securing first place in Group D. After getting a goal against Australia and then a brace against Denmark, Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé played a decisive role for Les Bleus. In this third match, he started on the bench before coming on in the 63rd minute.

France will discover their opponent for the next round this evening, given that they will face the team that finishes second in group C.  This could be either one of Argentina, Poland, Saudi Arabia or Mexico.
