For the 2024–2025 season, the Paris Saint-Germain defender has again been named as Les Rouge et Bleu’s captain by his teammates.
For the fifth consecutive season, Marquinhos will wear the captain's armband for Paris Saint-Germain. Having been appointed to the role by his peers, the Brazil international will be supported by vice-captains Presnel Kimpembe, Achraf Hakimi and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
