The Paris Saint-Germain coach and Achraf Hakimi spoke to PSG TV after the encounter with PSV Eindhoven (1-1), on Tuesday 22 October at the Parc des Princes on Matchday 3 of the league stage of the UEFA Champions League.
LUIS ENRIQUE
"It's a shame. It's a shame because I think the team did everything to win the match, right up until the last second, trying to turn things around and ensure the result reflected what each team deserved. PSV played a very good match, but we were much better in attack and defence.
Now, I’m focused on the team's recovery. We all know the importance of Sunday’s match. We understand how significant this game is for our supporters and for the league. But tonight, it hurts. It hurts because this is a result we didn't expect and don’t deserve. But that's football, we have to accept it and bounce back."
Achraf Hakimi
"We are disappointed not to take all three points. I think we tried to score that second goal towards the end and managed to create chances. I think what we lacked was making the most of our chances. We need to keep our heads up. Sunday is a big game and we have to be ready for it. Now, it's time to work and recover."
