The Paris Saint-Germain and Vitinha spoke to PSG TV after Les Parisiens' victory over LOSC Lille (3-1) on Sunday 1 September at the Decathlon Arena-Stade Pierre Mauroy in Villeneuve-d'Ascq on Matchday 3 of Ligue 1.

"You can't expect an away match to be easy, especially against a team like Lille. I think that we controlled the game for almost 60-70 minutes and that our lack of rhythm in the last 20 minutes prevented us from closing out the match. I feel the result is fair, we played well and we’re still in a good run of form. In terms of points, it’s impossible to have more. In terms of goals, 13 scored and two conceded is not bad at all. Of course, we can improve, but I think the level of our team is already very high."

"The most important thing was the victory. We did it, we won. But it was a tough match on a difficult pitch. Lille are a very good team. They're a Champions League-level team, just as the coach had warned us. We tried to execute the coach's instructions. It was difficult, especially in the build-up, a bit in the first half, but particularly challenging in the second half. But we did it, we won. That was the most important thing. However, there's still a significant margin for improvement. The key was leaving here with a victory, which wasn't easy. It was a good match from the whole team, even the players who came into the squad performed well. There are many positive aspects, but there's also still a lot of room for improvement."
