The Paris Saint-Germain coach and Désiré Doué spoke to PSG TV after the Rouge et Bleu's fine 3-1 victory over Marseille on Matchday 26 of Ligue 1 at the Parc des Princes on Sunday evening.
Luis Enrique
'In my opinion, Le Classique is always a special match. I think we played well. It was difficult because our opponents played with character. But in the end, I think it has been the perfect week. We wanted to show what we were capable of and it has been physically tough. The Liverpool game was very special: with the travel and everything, I think it's difficult to play at 100% but we're glad to get this result against Marseille. We're very happy.'
Désiré Doué
‘It was my first Classique at the Parc des Princes and I'm very, very happy. I'm also happy for the team because we played a very good game tonight. We were committed from start to finish, we were able to show some good stuff and were efficient when we needed to be. We've got 3 points and that's the most important thing. We know it's a match with a lot at stake. There's a lot of passion but we're very happy, we were able to stay professional and that's the most important thing. It's been a great week and we need to keep it up!'
