Messi in running for Ligue 1 October Player of the Month award

The Paris Saint-Germain forward is in the hunt for the honour after a stellar set of displays throughout the month.

After claiming the award in September, Lionel Messi is this time nominated alongside Rennes forwards Amine Gouiri and Martin Terrier.
