Eighteen Paris Saint-Germain players joined up with their respective national teams during the international week. Find out how they fared.

LUCAS HERNANDEZ / OUSMANE DEMBÉLÉ / RANDAL KOLO MUANI / KYLIAN MBAPPÉ - FRANCE

Les Bleus continued their qualifying campaign for Euro 2024, which will be held in Germany. No fewer than four Parisians were selected by Didier Deschamps to face the Republic of Ireland on Matchday 5 of the European Qualifiers. The Parisians among Les Bleus felt right at home as the match took place at the Parc des Princes. A fine 2-0 victory confirmed France in top spot in their group with 15 points, well ahead of the Netherlands and Greece. Les Bleus then travelled to Germany for a friendly against Die Mannschaft. Despite a 2-1 defeat for France, Randal Kolo Muani made his return to the starting line-up. All in all, each of the four Parisians got some game time during the international week.

DANILO PEREIRA / VITINHA / GONÇALO RAMOS - PORTUGAL

As part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers, Portugal's Paris Saint-Germain defender travelled to Slovakia to take on club team-mate Milan Skriniar, winning 1-0. The Seleção Portuguesa then played host to Luxembourg at Faro's Estadio do Algarve, again as part of the European Qualifiers, winning 9-0 with Gonçalo Ramos bagging a brace. All three of our Portuguese Parisians played during the international week, and Portugal are now top of Group J with 18 points.

MILAN SKRINIAR - SLOVAKIA

After losing to his Portuguese club-mates, the Les Rouge et Bleu number 37 was one of the players in a fine victory over Liechtenstein, again in Euro 2024 qualifying. Slovakia beat the Alpine principality 3-0 in a fine performance that saw the Slovaks finish the international week in second place in Group J.

FABIAN RUIZ / MARCO ASENSIO - SPAIN

La Roja's two Parisians played in just one of the two European qualifiers during the international week; Fabian Ruiz and Marco Asensio each provided an assist in Spain's opening 7-1 win over Georgia. Thanks to a second successive victory over Cyprus (6-0), Spain are now second in Group A with nine points.

GIANLUIGI DONNARUMMA - ITALY

Paris Saint-Germain's Italian goalkeeper was with the Squadra Azzurra during this international week, as part of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. After a 1-1 draw in Northern Macedonia, Donnarumma's Italy were at home to Ukraine in Milan's legendary San Siro stadium. The Parisian goalkeeper ensured a 2-1 victory, making two important saves to preserve his side's lead. The Italians finished this international week in second place in Group C, with seven points.

ACHRAF HAKIMI - MOROCCO

The Paris Saint-Germain right-back was back with the Atlas Lions for the final round of qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Initially scheduled for 9 September, the match between Morocco and Liberia was cancelled due to the earthquake that hit the country the night before the match. Achraf Hakimi and his team-mates nevertheless played in the friendly against Burkina Faso last Tuesday. The Moroccans won 1-0 at Stade Bollaert in Lens. The Paris No.2 played the entire match, before returning to the PSG Campus on Wednesday.

MARQUINHOS - BRAZIL

Captain and goalscorer, the Paris No.5 shone for Brazil this international week. The Seleção won both of their matches in 2026 World Cup qualifying action. The first was a 5-1 victory over Bolivia, followed by a 1-0 win over Peru in which Marquinhos was the only scorer, heading home a last-gasp goal to send Brazil through. A successful start to the qualifying phase, then, with Brazil topping their group - ahead of Argentina - on 6 points.

MANUEL UGARTE - URUGUAY

The capital club's No.4 made his third and fourth appearances for La Celeste. After an opening 3-1 win over Chile, in which the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder played the entire match, Uruguay lost 2-1 to Ecuador in Quito. Manuel Ugarte, the Les Rouge et Bleu's star performer at the start of the season, also impressed his compatriots.

KEYLOR NAVAS - COSTA RICA

Keylor Navas's Costa Rica played two friendlies. A fine 3-1 win over Saudi Arabia was followed by a 4-1 defeat by the United Arab Emirates. Paris Saint-Germain's No.1 played all of both matches.

WARREN ZAÏRE-EMERY / BRADLEY BARCOLA - FRANCE U21

A source of pride! For his first international week in charge of France's U21s, Thierry Henry called up Warren Zaïre-Emery - and even named him captain. The young Parisian thus became the youngest player to wear the armband for Les Bleuets in the last 30 years, at 17 years and 183 days. The Paris Saint-Germain No.33 started both games this week, and was joined by Bradley Barcola, who also shone. After an initial 4-1 victory over Denmark in a friendly in Nancy, the two young Rouge et Bleus went on to win in Slovenia, as part of the U21 Euro 2025 qualifiers. The former Lyon forward scored twice and provided an assist in a comprehensive 4-0 win.

CHER NDOUR - ITALY U21

Cher Ndour earned his first two caps for Italy U21 in the qualifying competition for the UEFA U21 Championship Georgia-Romania 2025. After coming on as a substitute in the 0-0 draw with Latvia, the Italian was part of Italy's starting eleven in the Azzurrini's 2-0 win over Turkey. The Italians are third in Group A with four points, behind Norway and the Republic of Ireland.
