Finish 2018 on a high

News

With the postponement of the game in Dijon, there are just two games left this calendar year: a Coupe de la Ligue trip to Orléans and the Week 19 hosting of FC Nantes.

On Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain will go to the Stade de la Source in Orléans to open their Coupe de la Ligue defence against Ligue 2 opposition. Referee Jérôme Miguelgorry has already taken charge of a Paris match this season: the 3-1 win over Angers. The previous meeting between the sides was a Coupe de France tie in 1989. Orléans had won 4-0 at the Parc des Princes before a 3-3 draw in the second leg. They will be hard pushed to end the Rouge-et-Bleu's impressive run in the Coupe de la Ligue however: Paris Saint-Germain have won their last 20 games in the competition, winning the trophy every season since 2014.

On Saturday 22 December, Paris Saint-Germain will round off 2018 at the Parc des Princes with Nantes the visitors for the first home game in more than three weeks. Fans can be hopeful of the early Christmas present of all three points: Paris have won their last nine meetings with Les Canaris (kick-off 21:00CET/8p.m.GMT).
