Everything you need to know about Orléans vs. Paris Saint-Germain

Tonight, Paris take on Orléans Coupe de la Ligue BKT last 16 at the Stade de la Source. Here's everything you need to know about the game!

Tonight's game in the Coupe de la Ligue sees Thomas Tuchel's side take on Ligue 2's US Orléans. The club, managed by Didier Olle-Nicolle currently sit 11th in the French second division, with seven wins from 18 games this season and 23 points on the board.

The two sides have only met twice, during the 1989 French Cup. The Orleanais beat Paris 4-0 at the Parc des Princes before a draw at XX stadium in the second leg.

What will boost the visitors' confidence ahead of the tie is the fact that Paris Saint-Germain have won their last 20 Couple de la Ligue matches. Their last defeat was back in 2012, though even this defeat was via a penalty shoot out against St Etienne. Edinson Cavani has scored six goals in his last four league cup games.

Yesterday, manager Thomas Tuchel spoke about the game ahead of training stating:

"Neymar was at the hospital for some examinations. The results were positive, but he is not yet back to 100%. He trained on Sunday, but not at the normal intensity, so he won't play on Tuesday. It's the same for Lassana Diarra, who injured his knee. Everyone else is available to play."

Despite being without Neymar Jr and Diarra, the German coach remains focused on the task in hand:

"We have prepared the same way we do for every match. Orléans beat Reims in the Coupe de la Ligue. Right now, they're in a tough situation as they failed to win their last match. For us, the challenge will be to play our own game. They will be playing at home, and it's a cup tie... it's always complicated. We'll need to play with plenty of application and intensity."
