No less than 21 Paris Saint-Germain players head off to represent their countries during the international break. Check out the diary:

In Europe, Africa and South America, all the Paris Saint-Germain players selected by their national teams will take part in 2022 World Cup qualifiers during the September break.

PRESNEL KIMPEMBE & KYLIAN MBAPPÉ - FRANCE

Didier Deschamps' Les Bleus will play three matches:

  • Wednesday 1 September at 20:45: France - Bosnia-Herzegovina (Stade de la Meinau, Strasbourg)
  • Saturday 4 September at 20:45: Ukraine - France (NSC Olimpiyskiy, Kiev)
  • Tuesday 7 September at 20:45: France - Finland (Stade Lyon-Décines)

MARCO VERRATTI & GIANLUIGI DONNARUMMA - ITALY

Roberto Mancini's Azzurri players are already back to work, just a few weeks after lifting the EURO 2020 trophy. They too will play three matches:

  • Thursday 2 September at 20:45: Italy - Bulgaria (Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence, Italy)
  • Sunday 5 September at 20:45: Switzerland - Italy (St. Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland)
  • Wednesday 8 September at 20:45: Italy-Lithuania (Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia, Italy)

THILO KEHRER - GERMANY

The Parisian defender has been recalled by Hans-Dieter Flick for these qualifiers. On the programme, three matches:

  • Thursday 2 September at 20:45: Liechtenstein - Germany (AFG Arena, St Gallen)
  • Sunday 5 September at 20:45: Germany - Armenia (Mercedes-Benz Arena, Stuttgart)
  • Wednesday 8 September at 20:45: Iceland - Germany (Laugardalsvöllur, Reykjavik)

DANILO PEREIRA & NUNO MENDES - PORTUGAL

The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has been called up by Portugal coach Fernando Santos to play in the Seleção's next three matches:

  • Wednesday 1st Septembre at 29:45: Portugal - Irlande (Estádio Algarve, Almancil, Portugal)
  • FRIENDLY - Saturday 4 September at 20:45: Qatar - Portugal (Nagyerdei Stadion, Hungary)
  • Tuesday 7 September at 18:00: Azerbaijan - Portugal (Bakı Olimpiya Stadionu in Azerbaijan)

GEORGINIO WIJNALDUM - NETHERLANDS

Captain of the Oranje, the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has been called up by Louis van Gaal to play in the Netherlands' next three matches. The Parisian was particularly prominent during the recent Euro 2020, scoring no less than three goals while wearing the captain's armband for his national team:

  • Wednesday 1 September at 20:45: Norway - Netherlands (Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, Norway)
  • Saturday 4 September at 20:45: Netherlands - Montenegro (Philips Stadium in Eindhoven, Netherlands)
  • Tuesday 7 September at 20:45: Netherlands - Turkey (Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam, Netherlands)

IDRISSA GUEYE & ABDOU DIALLO - SENEGAL

In Africa too, the World Cup qualifiers are gathering pace. Two Parisians have been called up by Senegal coach Aliou Cissé to play in the next two matches with the Lions of Teranga:

  • Wednesday 1 September at 18:00: Senegal - Togo (Stade Lat-Dior, Thiès)
  • Tuesday 7 September at 18:00: Congo - Senegal (Stade Massemba-Debat, Brazzaville)

ACHRAF HAKIMI - MOROCCO

The new Paris Saint-Germain left-back has also been called up by Vahid Halilhodzic to participate in the next two games of the Atlas Lions:

  • Thursday, September 2 at 21:00: Morocco - Sudan (Complexe Prince Moulay Abdellah, Rabat)
  • Monday 6 September at 18:00: Guinea - Morocco (Stade Lassana Konté, Conakry)

MARQUINHOS & NEYMAR JR - BRAZIL

The same battle is being waged on the other side of the Atlantic, where Tite's Seleçao and our two Parisians will take part in the three qualifiers. And once again, our Brazilians will cross paths with the Albiceleste:

Still in South America, the Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper has been picked by Costa Rica coach Ronald Gonzalez to take part in the three World Cup qualifiers:

  • Thursday 2 September: Panama - Costa Rica (Estadio Rommel Fernández, Panama City)
  • Sunday 5 September: Costa Rica-Mexico (Costa Rica National Stadium, San José)
  • Wednesday 8 September: Costa Rica-Jamaica (Costa Rica National Stadium, San José)

ANGEL DI MARIA, LEANDRO PAREDES & LEO MESSI - ARGENTINA

The three Argentines, who have just won the Copa America, have been called up by Lionel Scaloni to take part in the next three World Cup qualifiers for the Albiceleste:

  • Thursday 2 September at 21:00: Venezuela - Argentina (Estadio Olimpico de la Ciudad Universitaria, Caracas)
  • Sunday 5 September at 16:00: Brazil - Argentina (Arena Corinthians, Sao Paulo)

Our three Titis have been called up by the French U18 coach Lionel Rouxel to participate in the Limoges 2021 International Tournament at the Stade de Beaublanc:
