The Spanish full-back gave his first impressions after signing a three-year deal with the Rouge-et-Bleu.
Juan, what are you first impressions after signing for Paris?
"I'm very happy to sign for a big club. Since I arrived, I've fallen in love with the city. I've come here with a lot of ambitions, I'm hungry for wins and with the desire to do what I love most: winning matches and enjoying myself."
What was behind your decision to join Paris Saint-Germain?
"The most important thing for me was to talk to the coach, Thomas Tuchel. Everyone knows he's a great coach. He has shown that. I like his playing style, which suits me well. I hope to contribute a lot to the team. I'm a left-back who likes attacking. That's the most important aspect of my game. I'm really looking forward to starting. I'm looking forward to meeting my teammates and helping them as best I can."
What did Thomas Tuchel say to you?
"He told me he was happy to see me sign for Paris. I want to help the team win the three national trophies. We have a very good team and we can achieve great things."
Have you already seen Paris Saint-Germain's matches this season?
"Yes, I have seen a lot of PSG games. There are great players at the club, so I see the matches when I can. I have become a sort of fan! The L1 is a new league for me. I hope to adapt quickly. You always hope to feel at ease quickly, but with the coach's playing style, I'm not too worried."
What do you think of your new teammates?
"As I said, there are some great players here. World class players who are going to help the team a lot. I can't wait to start working with them. With such a team, you have to be looking to win every competition you're in. Of course, the ultimate dream is to win the Champions League, but it's a tough competition to win.
