With 100 days to go until Les Rouge et Bleus' entry into the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, find out all you need to know about the new competition format.
The Club World Cup will take place from 15 June to 13 July 2025 in the United States. 32 participating clubs from six continents will compete against each other at twelve competition venues. The final will be held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
THE FORMAT
The competition will open with a classic group stage, played from 15 to 26 June. The participants will be divided into eight groups of four teams and will play each other in one-off matches.
From 28 June, the two best clubs from each group will face each other in a knockout tournament. The round of sixteen, quarter finals, semi finals and final will all be single matches. There will be no third place play-off.
On 5 December, Paris Saint-Germain found out who they will be playing in group B.
