The Paris Saint-Germain family unites to launch PSG Judo

The entire Paris Saint-Germain sporting family came together in the 13th arrondissement of Paris to inaugurate the Dojo of the club's Judo section where scores of young judokas have been training since the start of the season.

For this important historical moment, the Rouge & Bleu judoka, starting with section president Djamel Bouras and global superstar and club youth graduate Teddy Riner, could count on the presence of footballers Kylian Mbappé, Layvin Kurzawa, Maxwell, Laure Boulleau and Ashley Lawrence, handballers Bruno Martini and Daniel Narcisse and FIFA e-Sport players Daxe and Ferra.

"After opening our Judo school in September, this is another important moment for our club and our section," declared Djamel Bouras, president of Paris Saint-Germain Judo. "Symbolically, the entire Paris Saint-Germain family has come together for this inauguration. The atmosphere of this evening perfectly reflects the spirit that reigns between the club's different sporting disciplines. It gives us great energy to build the future of Paris Saint-Germain Judo."

The home of Paris Saint-Germain's fifth sport is in a dedicated part of the CMG Sports Club One Italie complex. The 180m² Dojo at the Place d’Italie is decorated in the club colours and houses a Jogo school open to everyone, as well as high level training facilities for Teddy Riner and the 14 other athletes.

The 5 girls: Faïza Mokdar (17yrs, -52 kg), Habi Magassa (17yrs, -78 kg), Lalou Lebrun (19yrs, -52 kg), Mélanie Vieu (20yrs, -48 kg), Carla NZossi (20yrs, -70 kg). The 10 boys: Heydar Ouchen (17yrs, -55 kg), Yhonice Goueffon (18yrs, -60 kg), Joris Agbegnenou (18yrs, -90 kg), Widdman Laudort (19yrs, -66 kg), Hugo Metifiot (19yrs, -73 kg), Eniel Caroly (19yrs, -81 kg), Tanou Keïta (19yrs, -100 kg), Christopher Mvuama (19yrs, -100 kg), Israil Dakayev (19yrs, -66 kg) and Teddy Riner (29yrs, +100 kg).

Ten of them will be taking part in the French Division 1 championship, on 3 and 4 November in Rouen.
