Training

Between 31 October and 7 November this year, the Paris Saint-Germain Academy Russia moved its autumn training camp to Belek in Turkey, giving the youngsters taking part the chance to benefit from a warm, sunny climate.

In total, more than 60 youngsters between the ages of 7 and 15 got to follow the routine of Paris Saint-Germain's professional players over the space of a week, with two training sessions every day. A zoo visit and a trip to an aquatic park were also organised, giving the children and their families an opportunity to see the town in a different way.

For the first time since the training camps were launched, the families of children in the 'Future stars' group aged between 3 and 6 were also able to travel. As a result, close to 20 families got to sample their very first Paris Saint-Germain Academy experience abroad.

In addition to training sessions, the youngsters were invited every evening to themed events which combined education and sport. The focus of these events included nutritional advice, an assessment of the day's training session, the history of Paris Saint-Germain and a rundown of the club's other Academies across the globe.

Overall, this experience in Turkey proved extremely rewarding for everyone in the Paris Saint-Germain Academy Russia delegation, children and parents alike.

See you in spring for the next training camp!
